Mainly Music

Wednesdays 10.00am in the upstairs hall.

Young children and their mums or caregivers enjoying music, rhyme, rhythm, creative dance and more.

Young children develop skills - co-ordination, fine motor movements, large motor movements, social interaction, appreciation of music and musical styles, and language development. mainly music provides children with a structured learning environment and then a time of free play. mainly music brings adult and child together for a time of safe interaction, and in doing so, teaching adults rhymes and songs that can be used at home to help with cleaning up, colours, counting, and more.

There is an opportunity for parents to network with other parents of young children.

CAMP 2008

Body building: a church for our community

May 23rd  - 25th 2008 @ Willow Park Christian Camp, Eastern Beach.

Vision: To grow in friendship, enabling us to serve our community with strength.

Why: In our busy lives, it’s easy to come along to church, however, how often we spend time building relationships? When do we relax together?  When do we indulge ourselves the gift of time growing together? It is well known that camps build friendships, are huge fun and are places where we grow closer to each other and the Lord. So why not?

Who: This camp is for all. Yes, every one of us belongs to the ‘body’

Camp Registration forms are being mailed out please return by 13 April 2008.

 

Coffee on Wednesday

2.00 - 3.00pm on Wednesday afternoons at the Bamboo Garden Cafe at Highland Park.  Drop in for coffee and a chat.

Morning Fellowship

Meets 10.00am on the second Thursday of each month.  A small and caring group of people who enjoy either a speaker or an outing.
